It is important to remember that parking is allowed but these are not formal parking lots. Knowing where free parking is permitted can be convenient. The street parking sections around Nagoya Castle introduced here are marked by the following red lines. We will explain in detail afterward, but please note that while some sections allow street parking, there are parts leading up to certain intersections where street parking is prohibited.

Even in sections where street parking is allowed, please be aware that there are legally designated areas where parking is not permitted. The following areas in the sections introduced today require special caution:

・Within 5 meters of intersections
・Within 5 meters before and after pedestrian crossings
・Within 10 meters of bus stops
・Within 3 meters from the entrances and exits of parking lots

This is the road heading from the "Meijo Park South" intersection towards the "Sujikaibashi" intersection. It is located on the north side of Nagoya Castle and runs between Nagoya Castle and Meijo Park.

This is the road heading from the "City Hall" intersection on Otsu Street towards the "Meijo Park South" intersection. It is located on the east side of Nagoya Castle.

The ending point for the street parking section is not at the "Meijo Park South" intersection, but just past the entrance to the Meijo Park North Garden Parking Lot. Beyond that point, parking is prohibited, so please be careful.

Road North of Ninomaru Intersection

This is a narrow road located north of the "Ninomaru" intersection on Dekimachi Street.

After entering from the intersection, the road goes inward and loops back around to return. The street parking section extends from the entry point of the "Ninomaru" intersection to the exit, but please note that street parking is not possible on the narrower parts of the road near the entrance and as it loops back. Street parking is only allowed in the wider section further inside.
